Sara

My name is Sara, and I am seventeen years old. I am the youngest child with two older sisters. I write with my right and left hand, have dark brown hair color and I have chocolate brown eyes. My favorite foods are all kinds of fruits except tomatoes. I am in eleventh grade, and my favorite subject is chorus. My accomplishment in school is that I have been selected to be featured in the “Roar” magazine for my drawings and paintings. I also participate in cheerleading, girl scouts, gymnastics, soccer, softball and volleyball. I started dancing when I was three years old, and I have been dancing for fourteen years. The genres of dance I have studied are Ballet, Belly Dancing, Character, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, Swing and Tap.

I look up to my sister, Juanita, because she is fun, outgoing and my best friend. My favorite genre of dance is Contemporary because of its choreography and music. I find the most interesting style of dance is Belly Dancing because it is challenging, fun, uses different muscles and feel achieved when I accomplish a new move. My favorite thing about dance class is learning a new choreography.  My favorite stretch is doing all types of splits.

When I am not at dance class, I like to go shopping, have sleep-overs, draw, go to the movies and be on the phone (text) with my friends. When I am with my friends outside of school and dance school, I like to go shopping and help my friends choose their outfits.

My happiest moments are being with my friends and achieving goals. My goal in dance class is improve my flexibility and endurance by repeatingthe exercises. My goal outside of dance class is go to college for art and photography and graduate with a bachelor’s degree. My ambition is to announce “Yellow Ribbon”, which is an anti-bullying support group who will help all friends from being bullied.
