COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:
As always, the well-being, health and safety of our families remains our top priority. We will continue to do everything we can to keep all of us safe while we continue to support our families and do our part to help combat this pandemic.
We would like for our families to be aware of the precautions we are taking to be in compliance with the State Guidelines to ensure your safety and health within our studio. Please read below for information we have made in order for us to proceed with our classes.
- All families must use our main entrance to enter our school.
- Please enter the school one dancer at a time when there are other dancers around you; following social distancing rules.
- We are asking our families to arrive no sooner than 5 minutes before class starts, and leave immediately after the class is over. Please make sure to pick-up your dancer on time.
- Hand sanitizer will be available to all families entering Ballet and All That Jazz. We will have our hand sanitizer station at the main entrance of the school and by the door entering our studio.
- Effective February 10, 2022, New York has lifted its indoor mask mandate for all businesses. This means that any individual who visits our location will no longer be required to wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status. With that said, we would like to inform our families that our dancers will have a choice to wear their masks at their own family’s discretion.
- Please self-monitor for any sign or symptoms, and refrain from entering the studio when necessary.
- Physical distancing will be followed as much as feasible. Please avoid unnecessary gatherings and maintain a distance from each other with what is recommended by the NYSDOH/CDC. There will be a 6 ft tape markers laid down in our studio to indicate safe social distance floor placement and bar placement at all times.
- To maintain social distancing and limit the number of people in our school at all times, all parents/visitors must wait in their car during your dancer’s classes. By request, we would be more than happy to provide you with a chair to be used outside of our school.
- Please make sure your dancers arrive with their appropriate dance attire on (except for their dance shoes), as our dancers will not be able to change at the school. Unfortunately our bathroom is not to be used for changing purposes, and our changing room will not be available to our dancers at this time. Each dancer will need to place their belongings in ONE small sized bag and conscientiously maintain distance while placing them in the school so that they do not touch each other’s belongings. Designated areas will be provided for your bag spaced away from one another.
- Our instructors will continue to disinfect the studio to prevent the spread of any infection.
- Please note that the tuition payment check will need to be mailed to our school’s attention and/or dropped off in our mailbox, as we will not be accepting any cash payments in person at this time. If a family needs to approach our office for any reason, only one person will be allowed in the room at a time. If you see someone in the room, please kindly wait outside at a safe distance until they exit before entering the space.
