DRESS CODE:
These dress codes are made in order to allow the teachers to see the dancer’s body, so that the corrections on placement may be made with more accuracy. The dance products can be purchased at www.discountdance.com.
Acrobatics:
Preschool – leotard, pink footed tights and pink ballet shoes with sewn elastics.
Elementary – leotard, footless tights and bare feet.
Juniors & Seniors – leotard, footless tights and bare feet.
Ballet:
Preschool – leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes with sewn elastics and ballet skirts (optional).
Elementary – leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes with sewn elastics and ballet skirts (optional).
Juniors & Seniors– leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes with sewn elastics and ballet skirts (optional).
Hip Hop:
Elementary – comfortable body-fitted tops, bottoms and black dance sneakers.
Juniors & Seniors – comfortable clothing that will not restrict movement and black dance sneakers.
Hip Hop / Jazz:
Elementary – comfortable body-fitted tops, bottoms and black split sole leather jazz boot (not shoe).
Juniors & Seniors – comfortable clothing that will not restrict movement and black split sole leather jazz boot (not shoe).
Jazz:
Elementary – leotard, pink footed tights, black split sole leather jazz boot (not shoe) and skirts/shorts (optional).
Juniors & Seniors – comfortable body-fitted tops, bottoms and black split sole leather jazz boot (not shoe).
Modern:
Elementary – leotard, black footless/convertible tights and bare feet.

Pre-Pointe:
Elementary – leotard, pink footed tights, pink “pre-pointe” or “shankless” shoes with sewn elastics and ribbons and ballet skirts (optional).

Pointe:
Elementary – leotard, pink footed tights, pink pointe shoes with sewn elastics and ribbons and ballet skirts (optional).
Juniors & Seniors – leotard, footed tights, pink pointe shoes with sewn elastics and ribbons and ballet skirts (optional).
Stretch & Strength:
All age group – comfortable body-fitting clothing that does not restrict movement and bare feet.
Tap:
Preschool – leotard, pink footed tights, black tap shoes and skirts (optional). Girls: black patent tap shoes with ribbon laces. Boys: black jazz tap shoes.
Elementary – leotard, pink footed tights black tap shoes and skirts/shorts (optional). Girls: black patent tap shoes with laces. Boys: black jazz tap shoes.
Juniors & Seniors – comfortable body fitted tops, bottoms (cannot pass ankle) and black split sole unisex jazz tap shoes.
Boys and gentlemen:
All age group – white/black body fitting t-shirt, black tights/pants and an appropriate shoes for each class.
**Please keep in mind of the following… No baggy dance attire will be allowed in any classes provided. Long hair must be neatly tied back and short hair/bangs must be pinned to keep the hair away from the dancer’s face. No jewelries are allowed except for stud earrings and no watches are allowed.**

There will always be a time when it is necessary to be absent from a class. The faculty at Ballet and All That Jazz encourage the students to take a make-up class in order to keep practicing to be a better dancer. Please ask your class instructor to assist you in choosing the proper class to take as your make-up class. Please remember that a make-up class must be taken during the same month of missed class.
